The trade union case for electoral reform
There is growing interest in electoral reform from trade unions and we are anticipating it will be a key issue at the general election.
Unfortunately, there can also be a fair bit of myth and misinformation that circulates about proportional representation. We want you to know the benefits it can deliver for working people and have the facts to hand when the debate arises.
History shows that even when the Labour Party win an overall majority, any improvements in trade union rights are quickly reversed by subsequent Tory governments.
We firmly believe that proportional representation can help ensure trade unions and working people keep a seat at the table and hold on to any new rights that the Labour Party award to trade unions. We hope you can join us
